Icecap Manual RO Membrane Flush Valve / Flow Restrictor

The IceCap reverse osmosis membrane flush valve is an all-in-one flow restrictor with an incorporated manual flush valve in one simple fitting. Reverse Osmosis membrane flush/flow restrictor valves increase the flow to the membrane by bypassing the flow restrictor when the valve is opened. This helps flush deposits and significantly increases the usable life of the RO membrane. 

Which model do I need?

• 550 mL/min for 75 GPD / 150 GPD RO/DI Systems
• 800mL/min for 100 GPD / 200 GPD RO/DI Systems

It is recommended to flush the membrane for a few seconds before and after each use or every few weeks for a few minutes as part of regular reverse osmosis system maintenance. When the handle on the valve is “inline,” the valve bypasses the flow restrictor and is in “flush mode. " If the handle is perpendicular to the valve, then the unit is ready for normal use.
