Giesemann MEGACHROME Coral produces the perfect light source for all salt-water aquariums that need a strong light performance in combination with a high blue ratio. The light spectrum has a deep blue accent and shows fluorescent effects on many corals which gives a completely different impression of the color. The higher color temperature of this bulb is achieved through a special manufacturing process which at the same time guarantees a long color stability which is a problem with many bulbs towards the blue end of the spectrum.

MEGACHROME metal halide lamps are produced in Germany and are characterized by a long lifetime and high color stability. MEGACHROME lamps are available as double ended versions (R7s respectively Fc2) or as single ended version (E40; mogul). With the development of the MEGACHROME bulbs we introduced a trend setting generation of metal halide lamps that is absolutely unique with regards to their quality and color reproduction.
