Active Substrate for Shrimp Aquariums

The Dennerle Shrimp King Active Soil comprises 100% natural raw materials. It is made up of carefully selected natural soils that are rich in essential minerals and trace elements that promote shrimp health and growth. This product is designed to cater to the successful keeping and breeding of shrimp, particularly those that thrive in soft, slightly acidic water. It is ideal for bee shrimp species like the Crystal Red, Red Bee, Tiger Bees, and Shadow Shrimp. With its natural ion exchange properties, it adjusts the water to mimic the natural habitats of softwater species. It lowers the pH value and stabilizes it in the slightly acidic range around pH 6.0 – 6.5. Additionally, it reduces the carbonate hardness, which results in significantly softer water, depending on the source water, to approximately 0 – 2 °d KH. This product is also a great source of valuable humic and fulvic acids without adding any color to the water.
